Text Messaging Terms
How our shift alerts by text work, what they cost, and how to stop them.

The program
Orbital Risk Shift Alerts are text messages from Orbital Risk LLC to security officers who have asked to hear about work with us. We send:
- shift offers, with the post, time, place and pay rate, and a code to reply YES or NO;
- confirmations for shifts you accept, and notices when a shift you were offered has been filled;
- reminders the day before a shift you're working; and
- replies to messages you send us.
We don't send marketing or promotional texts. Messages come from (888) 834-3669 and start with “Orbital Risk”.
How to sign up
Officers sign up on our officer sign-up form. You enter your name and mobile number and tick a box that is not pre-checked, agreeing to receive texts from Orbital Risk about shift offers, confirmations and reminders. Agreeing isn't a condition of working with us. We only text people who have signed up this way, and we never buy or rent phone lists.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with the shifts available. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Stopping texts
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from us. You may receive one message confirming you've opted out, and nothing after that. To start again, reply START or sign up again.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, or text message opt-in data and consent, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how we use it.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
